From the volunteers at McCubbins Point, CP17 and CP40
We volunteered for our first adventure race to see what you racers are made of, and without a doubt determined you are all made of GOLD! While stretched to your physical, mental and emotional limits, you still maintained a polite and appreciative attitude with us. You are all awesome! It was such a delight to see the energy and synergy of your teams.
Here are a couple favorite visions:
First, those of you that just made the cut-off to launch your canoes for the return trip to Camp Rising Sun, paddled off into the sunset with moon light on your backs. Beautiful!
Second, those after the cut-off launched with the red blinky lights and head lights glowing and away you glided. Awesome!
We hope to see you out there another time!

Thank you for being out there. We appreciate all your hard work and smiling faces. These races couldn't happen without all the wonderful volunteers.
